‘Border 2’ hit big at the box office at opening and rode on the patriotic mood as well as the holidays of the Republic Day holiday break, to pack a big punch in the first week. With 2nd-week earnings dipping visibly after Day 10, crossing the 300 crore barrier is really difficult from now on.
The film benefited from the holiday period, garnering good initial takings, but as the holiday period waned, weekday collections crashed. According to Sacnilk estimates, ‘Border 2’ has completed 14 days in India, and total net collection has not reached the 300 crore mark yet.

On Day 14, the second Thursday, ‘Border 2’ saw another dip. Sacnilk report puts the collection for Day 14 (early day estimates) at 3.35 crore (rough data). The figure is down by over 19% per cent as compared to the previous day and clearly shows the fighting spirit falling off day by day, even during weekdays.
Adding this Day 14 collection, the total India net box office collection of ‘Border 2’ stands at around 294.25 crore.
Early estimates from Sacnilk mention the collection around 0.07 crore for Day 15 (second Friday) (these are live numbers and include early advance figures). The number may go further up with marginal changes by the day's end, but at the moment, the film has entered the low-earning phase, making it tougher to reach the 300 crore mark.
Border 2 Week 1 Collection:
The film had an excellent week at the box office, fetching 224.25 crore in its first seven days. Strong weekends and the Republic Day holiday helped push these figures up.

Border 2 Week 2 Collection:
However, the Week 2 collection fell back quite severely. The film fetched 70 crore in this week's 7 days, giving about 69% fall compared to the first week.

‘Border 2’ has fetched a total India net box office collection of about 294.32 crore after 14 days.
‘Border 2’ is a prequel to the 1997 classic film ‘Border’. Set in the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, the film is directed on a grand scope and features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in leading roles. The ensemble cast includes Mona Singh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa and Anya Singh. The film was released in cinemas on 23 January 2026.
