‘Border 2’ continues to show solid staying power at the Indian box office as it moves through its second week. Even as fresh theatrical releases hit cinemas and the OTT space gets more crowded by the day, the Sunny Deol–Varun Dhawan-led war drama refuses to slow down. With ₹275 crore nett already in the kitty, trade analysts believe the ₹300 crore mark is now well within reach.
The film has managed to hold its ground despite increasing competition, a sign that audience interest remains strong. According to Sacnilk, the total India net collection currently stands at around ₹275 crore, keeping the big milestone firmly in sight.

On Thursday (Day 11), collections saw the expected dip as regular weekday trends kicked in. As per early evening estimates from Sacnilk, ‘Border 2’ earned approximately ₹0.14 crore nett. While the drop was sharp, it followed the usual working-day pattern and did little to dent the film’s overall momentum.
The first week played a crucial role in cementing the film’s blockbuster status. ‘Border 2’ opened to a powerful ₹30 crore on Day 1, surged over the weekend, and then witnessed a routine slowdown during weekdays. By the end of its first week, the film had already raked in an impressive ₹224.25 crore nett in India.
Week 2 began on a slightly softer note, with Day 8 showing a marginal decline. However, collections picked up again over the weekend, driven by strong Saturday and Sunday numbers. By the close of Day 11, the film’s India net total had climbed to approximately ₹275.39 crore, placing Border 2 firmly among the top-grossing films of 2025.

Along the way, ‘Border 2’ has rewritten several box office records. The film has surpassed Dilwale to become Varun Dhawan’s highest-grossing release to date. It has also emerged as Diljit Dosanjh’s biggest box office success, overtaking popular titles such as Good Newzz, Crew and Udta Punjab.
On the global front, the war drama has crossed ₹370 crore in gross collections, leaving little doubt about its blockbuster status worldwide.
