‘Border 2’ has been in cinemas for 28 days now, and after a solid run initially, the pace of the action war drama, directed by JP Dutta, has begun to significantly slow down in the fourth week. Starring Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan in lead roles, the war drama took a flying start at the box office and dominated the collections during the first week. However, as the film edges closer to the ₹350 crore mark, it looks like it may not make it there.
According to a report by Sacnilk, ‘Border 2’ has earned a total of ₹323.82 crore net in India in 28 days.

According to the Sacnilk report, on Day 26 (4th Tuesday), ‘Border 2’ collected ₹0.8 crore, which showed an increase of 33.33% in collections compared to Day 25.
On Day 27 (4th Wednesday), the collections recorded were ₹0.55 crore, which shows a decline of 31.25%.

Border 2, which was made on a reported budget of ₹275 crore, has already recovered its production costs from domestic earnings alone. With the current collection of ₹323.82 crore, the film has already amassed approximately 77.22 crore in profit.
While the film can certainly be called a commercial success, experts believe that it will be difficult for the film to cross the ₹550 crore mark, which is often associated with a blockbuster in such a context.
