Bollywood actor, Nushrratt Bharuccha is back home and grateful for her safety and life. The ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor was stuck in war ridden Israel last week. Nushrratt came on the receiving end of the ongoing Israel and Palestine war when she had gone to Tel Aviv to attend the HAIFA Film Awards. The actor is back home safe and sound in India now. The actor’s fans, family, friends and well wishers were caught in a frenzy and got worried upon receiving the news of her being stuck in Israel.

Nushrratt Bharuccha took to her Instagram account and released a video and a written statement expressing her utter relief and gratitude for being back home in the safety of the Indian borders. The ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor thanked the Indian Government, the Indian Embassy and the Israel Embassy from the bottom of her heart to help her return back home to her loved ones.

The actor tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs, Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar, the Indian Embassy in Israel, the Embassy of Israel in India, the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyah and the Consul General of Israel to India Kobbi Shoshani in the caption with her statement that said, “@narendramodi @meaindia @b.netanyahu @indiainisrael @israelinindia @drs.jaishankar @kobbi.shoshani”.

Nushrratt Bharuccha was quoted saying, “ "On Saturday morning I suddenly woke up to bomb sounds and sirens blaring, following which we were hidden in the basement hotel basement and I’ve never been in such a situation." She continued saying, “I would like to thank the Government of India, the Indian Embassy in Israel, the Israel Embassy in India for my safe return home…” She further added, “We should be grateful that we live in a country like India where we are safe...”
