PM Modi Flags Off 9 Vande Bharat Express Trains: On September 24, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing officially flagged off nine Vande Bharat Express trains, bringing the total number of semi-high-speed trains to 34. The freshly introduced Vande Bharat Express trains would considerably increase connectivity and encourage tourism across India.
As per the PMO statement, With their cutting-edge safety measures and first-rate facilities, including Kavach technology, these nine Vande Bharat trains will bring in a new age of rail transportation in the nation.

Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Gujarat are among the 11 states that would benefit from the nine trains' enhanced connection."The speed and scope of infrastructure development are keeping up with the expectations of 140 crore Indians, said PM Modi in a speech delivered through video conference before the flag-off.
Except for Tuesday, the Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express runs six days every week. The train number 20979 will depart from Udaipur city. Between Udaipur and Jaipur, this Vande Bharat Express train will improve connectivity. It will travel along the route around 30 minutes more quickly than the present quickest train.
Except for Tuesday, the train will run six days each week. For faster travel for pilgrims, the Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express train would run between the holy cities of Tirunelveli Madurai and Chennai.
The Rourkela-bound train 20835 will leave at 14:10 and arrive at 21:40, while the Puri-bound train 20836 will leave at 5:00 and arrive in Rourkela at 12:45.
The train number 22926 will leave Jamnagar at 5:30 in the morning and arrive in Ahmedabad at 10:10 in the morning. The return train, 22925, will leave Ahmedabad (Places To Visit In Ahmedabad) at 18:00 and arrive in Jamnagar at 22:30.
Train number 20703, the Kacheguda Yesvantpur JN, runs six days a week, except for Wednesday. will leave Kacheguda at 5:30 in the morning and arrive at Yesvantpur around 1:00. The departing train, number 20704, will arrive in Kacheguda at 23:15 and return to Yesvantpur at 14:45.

Except for Tuesday, the Vijayawada-Chennai (via Renigunta) train will run six days each week. The Vijayawada-Chennai (via Renigunta) Vande Bharat Express, train number 20678, will leave at 15:20 and arrive in Chennai at 22:00.
Thiruvananthapuram will be reached by train number 20633, which leaves Kasaragod at 14:30. Thiruvananthapuram CNTL train number 20634 will leave at 5:20 in the morning and arrive in Kasargod at 13:20. Except for Thursday, the train will run six days each week.

Except on Tuesday, the Ranchi - Howrah Vande Bharat Express will run six days every week. Jharkhand and West Bengal will be connected by this railway in the shortest amount of time possible. It will depart Ranchi at 5:15 in the morning and arrive in Howrah at 12:20. The train will leave Howrah at 3:45 pm for its return trip and arrive in Ranchibat at 10:50 pm the same day.
The train from Patna to Howrah, number 22348, will leave at 8 am and arrive at Howrah at 14:35. The return train from Howrah will leave at 15:50 and arrive at Patna at 22:40. This train will link Howrah in West Bengal with Patna Junction in Bihar.
