At the end of season 2, episode 4, we learn more about Ellie and Dina's journey to Lakehill. A Look into FEDRA's Past
The episode of 'The Last Of Us' opens with a flashback in the Seattle Quarantine Zone, where we meet a group of FEDRA soldiers. One of them, played by Josh Peck, shares a disturbing and violent story for laughs, mocking the people known as ‘voters.’ A fellow soldier questions why they use this term, and a serious man, Sarge (played by Jeffrey Wright), explains that it’s meant to belittle the people whose voting rights FEDRA took away. His disapproval causes the soldiers’ laughter to quickly fade.
Ellie and Dina's Journey in Seattle
After the flashback, the episode shifts to Ellie and Dina, exploring Seattle for supplies. They come across a tower with the letters ‘WLF’ marked on a satellite and decide to investigate. Upon entering, they encounter a horrifying scene, which leads to a tense escape from the tower.
As Ellie and Dina escape, they find refuge in a nearby theatre. Using a walkie-talkie, they overhear a conversation about a location called Lakehill. They realise that there may be someone there, possibly Abby, and decide to head toward the location. However, when they reach the top of the theatre for a better view, they spot gunfire and explosions in the distance. Despite the danger, they choose to head toward the war zone, determined to find Abby.

Who Is the WLF Fighting at Lakehill?
It’s unclear who the WLF is battling at Lakehill, the Seraphites, a religious cult introduced earlier, or the Infected. The WLF has been at war with the Seraphites, as shown in previous episodes. However, it’s also possible the WLF is just fighting Infected in the area, as they’ve been working to clear out hot spots throughout Seattle. The massive gunfire and explosions suggest that the threat at Lakehill is significant, whether it's from humans or the Infected.
Isaac's Role in the WLF
Isaac, played by Jeffrey Wright, is revealed to be a leader in the WLF, though his full role hasn’t been fully explored yet. In a flashback, we see Isaac leaving FEDRA and joining the resistance, setting up his importance as a potential antagonist. His leadership could pose a serious challenge to Ellie and Dina as they continue their journey.

Ellie’s Immunity Revealed
During an intense escape from the Infected in a subway, Ellie is bitten. Dina panics, believing Ellie will turn into an Infected, but Ellie reveals her immunity to Dina. This moment changes their relationship, and Dina then shares a secret of her own.
Dina’s Pregnancy Revealed
Dina confesses to Ellie that she is pregnant, a secret she had been hiding. It’s revealed that Jesse is the father, and Dina discovered this after taking pregnancy tests she found in the episode. This new development will add complications to their journey, with Dina’s pregnancy potentially making their already dangerous mission even more challenging.
