Netmarble has confirmed that Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will exit early access and officially launch worldwide on May 21, 2025. The single-player role-playing game is inspired by HBO's Game of Thrones and developed by South Korean studio Netmarble, under license from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and mobile app stores.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Release Date

The game was first introduced in closed early access in January 2025, followed by a wider beta release in March. Players who participated in early access were offered a Founder’s Pack, giving them early gameplay access and exclusive content. Netmarble stated that all progress made during early access will carry over into the official release. In addition, those players will receive an exclusive outfit and a special House Sigil on launch day. The same bonuses apply to users who purchase the Founder’s Pack before May 21.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Limited Release

While the game will launch in most countries on schedule, some Asian regions will face delays. Netmarble explained that these delays are due to localisation efforts to enhance the gaming experience. The studio has promised regular updates after the global release, including new episodes, expanded map areas, and dungeons such as the Altar of Memories.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Official Trailer Features Jon Snow's Voice

A newly released trailer, narrated by Jon Snow, gives fans a glimpse of the gameplay. The video highlights the game’s combat systems, key features, and familiar locations, including King’s Landing, Castle Black, Highgarden, and the Wall. Characters from the original HBO series also make appearances, adding authenticity to the game’s immersive world.

Players can pre-register now on the App Store and Google Play. On Steam, the game is available in three editions:
