O'Romeo Box Office Collection Day 13: Shahid Kapoor’s Romantic Drama Shows Steady Run, Earns ₹59 Crore So Far

Though ‘O'Romeo’ has failed to become the blockbuster that everyone expected it to be, the movie is still performing well at the box office. Starring Shahid Kapoor in a romantic thriller drama, the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial has managed to stay afloat in the second week despite mixed reviews and tough competition.

According to the latest Sacnilk box office report, the total India net collection of the movie stands at ₹59.07 crore after 13 days of its release.

O’Romeo Box Office Collection Day 13

On Day 13 (second Wednesday), ‘O’Romeo’ saw a clear slowdown. According to Sacnilk, the movie’s box office collection on the thirteenth day stands at around ₹0.02 crore.

O’Romeo Box Office Collection Day 12

On Day 12 (second Tuesday), the movie raked in approximately ₹1.65 crore (rough estimate) per Sacnilk. This is a slight increase of about 3.12% from Day 11’s ₹1.6 crore.

The second weekend did give it some breathing space. On Day 9 (Saturday), it raked in ₹3.4 crore, and on Day 10 (Sunday), it earned ₹3.15 crore.

The movie ended its first week with a total of ₹47.1 crore. Despite the sharp declines in the days following the first weekend, it has still managed to inch closer to the ₹60 crore mark, which is a good number for a movie of this genre and reception.

O’Romeo Worldwide Collection

After 13 days, ‘O'Romeo’ has amassed ₹59.07 crore (India net), as per Sacnilk’s live data estimates. On the global front, the film’s worldwide gross currently stands at ₹92.95 crore.

Shahid Kapoor’s Biggest Bollywood Hits

‘O’Romeo’ has maintained a good pace, but it is not quite up to the standards of Shahid Kapoor’s career-defining films. ‘Padmaavat’ is his highest Hindi net grosser at ₹302.15 crore, with ‘Kabir Singh’ second at ₹278.8 crore.

In more recent films, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ collected ₹85.16 crore, and ‘R... Rajkumar’ collected ₹65.95 crore. ‘Udta Punjab’ concluded its run with ₹60.33 crore.

With ₹59.07 crore already, ‘O’Romeo’ is slowly moving towards surpassing ‘Udta Punjab’ and entering the top five highest Hindi net grossers of Shahid Kapoor.
