O'Romeo Twitter Review: Shahid Kapoor–Triptii Dimri’s Romantic Thriller Gets Praise; Netizens Call It 'Well-Paced with Usual Dark Humour'

‘O'Romeo’ finally reached the theaters today on February 13, 2026 and social media was quick to judge. The latest directorial venture from the critically acclaimed director Vishal Bhardwaj is a romantic thriller and his fourth outing with actor Shahid Kapoor-who has previously featured in many critically and commercially acclaimed movies by the director. With ‘O'Romeo’, Bhardwaj brings his usual dark humour and violent poetry in a hard-core love story.

Other actors starring in the film include Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and others. The film has been in the talks ever since it was announced and, while we'll have to wait for the box office numbers, it seems ‘O'Romeo’ has impressed the audience with its storyline and direction.

‘O’Romeo’ draws inspiration from a chapter in Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi, centring on gangster Hussain Ustara and Sapna Didi. The film received its censor certificate on February 11, 2026, with a runtime of 178 minutes and 41 seconds.
