O'Romeo Box Office Collection Day 14: Shahid Kapoor’s Film Crosses ₹60 Crore Despite 27% Drop

The much-anticipated romantic drama ‘O'Romeo’, starring Shahid Kapoor, has crossed the ₹60 crore mark at the Indian box office. While this is an important milestone, the film's collections have been somewhat erratic, experiencing a dip during its second week. The film performed decently during its opening days, but failed to maintain steady collections throughout the weekdays.

The Day 14 collections of ‘O'Romeo’ reported by Sacnilk show a noticeable slowdown in the film's progress.

The Sacnilk report indicates that ‘O'Romeo's’ Day 14 collection (second Thursday) was approximately ₹0.02 crore (based on limited live data with advance trends). The total India net collection of the film now stands at ₹60.27 crore.

A steady decline throughout the second week caused the drop, which shows a significant decrease in weekday audiences. Although collections dropped earlier in the week, the film still surpassed the 60 crore mark.

On the second Wednesday (Day 13), the film's collection was around ₹1.2 crore (rough data). Sacnilk reported that this was a 27.27% drop from Day 12, signalling a slowdown in the film's momentum towards the end of its second week. While weekend numbers in Week 2 saw a slight increase, the weekdays were still under pressure.

About O'Romeo

Despite the modest box office performance, director Vishal Bhardwaj considers ‘O'Romeo’ one of his best works and has expressed that he would never be ashamed of it.
