Today, as she turns a year older, we look back at her mind-blowing weight loss journey! Currently, we all envy Parineeti’s hot toned body but not to miss, there is a lot of hard work and dedication behind it! The bubbly actress who is known for her acting talent has given us some serious transformation goals.
Weight loss is surely not an easy task. Losing weight demands a lot of dedication. There is so much that goes into this journey, right from working hard on your body to controlling your cravings. Parineeti did it all to achieve the body that she has today. Some time back, Parineeti went to her Instagram handle a posted a picture of her overweighted self. We simply loved the message she sent across with that image. She wrote, “BEFORE .. All my life, I have struggled with how I look, how I feel, and how people looked at me. I was constantly made fun of, but the person I was, I generously laughed with them. Today, many people ask me what triggered the weight loss, did I give in to the "bollywood pressure"? To that I say - thank god I became an actor and had that pressure! I am able to achieve what I couldn't achieve otherwise. I feel more confident, I feel at peace, and I feel proud! Girls and women meet me all around the world, at airports, events, on the street; they hold my hand, hug me, and tell me their struggles and how I changed their lives. They show me their wallpapers, their wallets, and its all pictures of me!! They look at those pictures and want to make that change in their own lives. They look at my Built That Way campaign and have stuck it to their walls. I have seen women tear up and tell me I changed their life. Post delivery weight, teenage obesity, they are fighting it, and I am their inspiration. As an actor, There is no bigger achievement for me. I am glad to be a part of your life in this way. A Healthier Diet
Parineeti Chopra has a thing for food! She loves eating food over anything else but to lose weight and achieve a toned body, she gave up on all her favourites. In an interview, she shared that she was always thinking about food throughout her weight loss journey. She said that it took a lot of mental strength to lose all that extra weight. Parineeti even gave up on her favourite food pizza. But she also shares that she has her cheat days where she has her favourite foods in moderation.
Parineeti believes that it is important to balance your meals. If she has something fatty during the day, she has something light for dinner. She has modified her diet completely now. She has brown bread with butter, 2 egg-whites and a glass of sugar-free milk for breakfast every day. She has a lot of salad. For lunch and dinner, Parineeti usually has brown rice with dal and veggies. Before she is off for sleep, she again has a glass of sugar-free milk.
A Mixed Workout Regime
Parineeti doesn’t love gym really but she does go for it once in a while. She has always shared that she doesn’t like going to the gym because she finds it boring. More than the gym, she likes going for activities like Kalaripayattu which is a form or martial arts from Kerala, meditation, yoga, swimming.
The Secret
Not many people know that the actress went up for a detox programme in Austria. As per sources, she underwent this programme where a special diet chart was prepared for her for 6 months. The entire plan costed her somewhere around 10 lakh.
