Polycystic ovary syndrome commonly known as PCOS or PCOD is a condition in women which they face because of the imbalance of reproductive hormones. It is a condition that mainly occurs in female body testosterone. Here the male hormone increases and female hormone which is estrogen decreases. So, as a result, the eggs are not properly released every month and can cause multiple issues.

Causes Of PCOS/PCOD

As we know now, it happens because of hormonal imbalance. The main cause of hormone imbalance is a poor lifestyle and bad eating habits. 1 out of 10 women suffers from this due to today's modern lifestyle.

You might get your periods till you are on birth control pills so try to avoid this.

Don't forget to add high fiber fruits like apple, banana, oranges, and strawberries. Apple peel has the most fiber content so make sure you add it in your diet.

Adding protein food is a must in your daily diet. You should know as per your body requirement how much protein you need and choose sources accordingly. There are plenty of natural vegetarian and non-vegetarian sources available. So have eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, tofu, soya, beans, grams, peas or plant-based protein supplements.

Complex Carbohydrates

While planning your meals make sure you add complex carbohydrates in your meals. They not only give the energy and fuel to the body to survive but also help in maintaining overall stamina and strength. Most of the complex carbs have fiber as well. These food include whole grains, brown rice, quinoa, corn, potatoes, legumes, beans, etc.
