Yet another cross-border love story has come to the notice of the world where a Pakistani woman has entered India to marry her boyfriend of a long time. This is the story of Javeria Khanum who is from Karachi, she entered India through Kolkata to marry her fiance Sameer Khan.

Javeria Khanum entered the country through Wagah Border, Amritsar. The woman, who is 21-years-old, has been granted a visa by the Indian government for 45 days. After entering her lover’s hometown, she was welcomed with the melodious beats of dhol by her father-in-law.

The couple claimed that they have been in a relationship for 5 years. Even though their families were ready for their marriage, she had not been getting a visa. However, now that she has, she is here in India.

In a similar case that surfaced in January 2023, Ikra Jivan, a resident of Hyderabad, Pakistan crossed the borders to marry her lover Mulayam Singh Yadav in India. Ikra first went to Kathmandu, and from there she illegally entered India through Bihar.

Fatema Nusrat And Nur Jalal

A 24-year-old woman named Fatema Nusrat from Bangladesh, entered India illegally to marry her lover Nur Jalal. She had entered Dharmanagar, a district in North Tripura. After this, she was sent to police custody for 14 days.
