Despite a successful first week, Sunny Deol's war drama ‘Border 2’ appears to have slowed down in the second week at the box office. The movie, which was released on January 23, 2026, was received positively by the audience owing to its nostalgic value, patriotic appeal, and strong star cast. However, after a stellar first week, the film has now been showing signs of slowing down, as it approaches the ₹300 crore milestone.
While the second-week collection has steadied down, the film continues to consistently attract viewers and remains in the Top Box Office hits of the year.

According to Sacnilk, ‘Border 2’ managed to draw an audience of around ₹0.16 crore on the 2nd Wednesday (Day 13).
Note: This is a rough estimate for early collections. The actual figure may reflect a variance factor after final trade figures are released.
This takes the total India net collection to around ₹286.91 crore as the film edges closer towards the much-coveted ₹300 crore, but the collection pace has slowed significantly.
According to Sacnilk rough data estimates, the film earned ₹5.75 crore on Day 12. As of Day 12, the total collections of the war saga stood at a total of 286.75 crore, an indication of the film's decent momentum in the second week of release, even after the release of new competition, and on working days.
