When Will Ganesh Chaturthi Be Celebrated?
To celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, people take part in worshipping Lord Ganesha, son of Lord Shiva. The auspicious time for the festival is from 02:09 pm on 18th September till 19th September at 03:13 pm. It will be celebrated for 11 days starting from September 11, 2023.
Auspicious Timing For Ganesh Sthapna
There is a special significance in installing the idol of Lord Ganesha in your houses on this day. It is believed that this brings happiness and prosperity into your homes. The ideal time for Ganesh Sthapna this year will be on 19th September between 11:07 am and 01:34 pm. After the Sthapna, he will be worshipped with full rituals for 10 consecutive days. The idol is then immersed on the day of Anant Chaturdashi which is on September 28, 2023.

Ganesh Chaturthi holds special importance in the Hindu religion as Lord Ganesha is considered the giver of intelligence, prudence and happiness and prosperity and is worshipped before doing any auspicious work.
Puja Rituals For Ganesh Chaturthi
It is believed that the person who worships Lord Ganesha with devotion and dedication is blessed with happiness, success and prosperity in life. You should chant the mantras of Lord Ganesha and sprinkle Ganga water all around while installing his idol.
Keep his idol facing north and make him sit on a pedestal. Modak (Paan Modaks Recipe) and Durva must be offered to Bappa as this makes our Gajanana very happy. After this, light a clay lamp and perform the aarti of Ganpati Bappa after listening to his story with rice in hand.
