Like every other relationship in the world, the bond between siblings is one of a kind. A relationship that has some cute, as well as serious, banters, yet full of warmth. Kapoor & Sons

In this 2016 family drama film, Fawad Khan and Siddharth Malhotra starred as brothers along with Alia Bhatt as the latter’s love interest. The brothers had tiff since their childhood caused by their mother (played by Ratna Pathak Shah) which led to the brothers not being on talking terms. Yet the first time Fawad opened up about being gay was to his brother.

Dear ZindagiDear Zindagi

In this 2016 Hindi film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, Rohit Saraf starred as Alia's brother. The film talks about mental health where Alia Bhatt takes therapy and counseling from Shah Rukh. Rohit is way younger than Alia in the film understands what Alia is going through and stands by her when she fights with her parents. The film portrays a small but beautiful bond between the siblings having ice cream together by the sea.

Dil Dhadakne Do

In the 2015 Hindi film starring Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Rahul Bose, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, and Shefali Shah, Ranveer played the role of Priyanka’s brother. When Priyanka was underestimated by her parents and mistreated by her husband Rahul, her brother was the one who stood by her and supported her, at times in her absence. Also, there was cute banter between the two throughout. There is something always different about the male characters written by Zoya Akhtar.

Kai Po Chekai Po Che

The siblings' bond in this 2013 Hindi film starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Amrita Puri has been depicted in a very realistic manner. While the relationship between an elder brother and younger sister is not always a cute banter, the younger sister also has to endure the elder brother’s overprotecting nature at times or most of the time.
