Atul Subhash Dies By Suicide After Years Of 'Harassment' By Wife
Atul Subhash, a Bengaluru-based techie, stirred shockwaves with a post on X (formerly Twitter) claiming that a ‘legal genocide of men is happening in India.’ In a desperate appeal, he tagged US President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, declaring his loss of faith in India's judiciary. His post included the chilling line, "I will be dead when you read this."
In his 24-page suicide note, Atul stated, "I am writing this suicide note in sound disposing mind. I am committing suicide today due to the explicit instigation for suicide, harassment, extortion, and corruption of individuals," naming five people, including his wife, in-laws, and Principal Family Court Judge (UP) Rita Kaushik.
As per Zee News, preliminary investigations revealed marital discord, with a case filed against him by his wife in Uttar Pradesh. Before taking his life, Atul emailed his note to several people, shared it in a WhatsApp group of an NGO he was associated with, and displayed a sign at his residence that read “Justice is due.” He also recorded a video, reiterating his claims of systemic bias against men, saying, "A legal genocide of men is happening in India currently."
