1. A 25-year-old Air India pilot, Srishti Tuli, was discovered dead in her rented apartment in Mumbai's Andheri area. As per Firstpost, authorities report that she allegedly used a data cable to hang herself. However, her family, hailing from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, has accused her boyfriend, Aditya Pandit, of killing her and attempting to pass it off as a suicide.

Tuli’s family revealed that Srishti and Aditya Pandit met during their pilot training programme. While Tuli successfully cleared the test and became a pilot, Pandit did not. Despite this, the two maintained their relationship even after Tuli relocated to Mumbai in 2023. As per the family, Pandit visited Tuli and stayed at her apartment for a week leading up to her alleged suicide.

2. In an interview with The Indian Express, Srishti Tuli’s family alleged that Aditya Pandit mistreated her, including publicly humiliating her and restricting her from eating non-vegetarian food. They have urged the Mumbai police to conduct a thorough investigation into her death.

3. Tuli, originally from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, has left her family grappling with immense grief. Her uncle, Vivek Tuli, expressed disbelief over the suicide claims, stating, as per NDTV, "They are saying she died by suicide, but I don't believe it. This is planned murder. She was strong, otherwise, she wouldn’t have become a pilot. We’ve learned about her friend (Aditya), who trained with her but couldn’t complete the course. He was jealous of her and would harass her.”

Mr. Tuli further revealed as per NDTV, that the family had reviewed one month of Srishti's bank account statement. "Around Diwali, approximately ₹65,000 was transferred to his family members. I’m convinced he was blackmailing her," he stated. Mr. Tuli added that he had requested the bank to provide her account statements for the entire year. "It’s possible she refused to give him more money, which may have led to her death," he speculated.

4. After returning home from work on Sunday, Srishti Tuli reportedly had an argument with her boyfriend, Aditya Pandit, at her apartment. Around 1 am on Monday, Pandit left for Delhi, but Tuli allegedly called him later, indicating she was considering taking an extreme step.

5. According to Firstpost, police officials stated that Pandit rushed back to her residence only to find the door locked from the inside. He called a keymaker to unlock the door and discovered Tuli unresponsive. She was taken to Seven Hills Hospital in Marol, where doctors declared her dead.
