The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially declared the results for the 2024 Police Constable examination, marking a crucial milestone for thousands of aspirants seeking to join the state police force.
Conducted across 1,174 centres on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, the written examination has set the stage for a comprehensive selection process. Candidates can now access their results through the official website uppbpb.gov.in.
How to Check UP Police Constable Results 2024
Candidates can retrieve their scorecards by following these straightforward steps:
- Visit the official UPPRPB website: uppbpb.gov.in
- Look for the notification titled ‘UP Police Constable Result 2024’ and click on it.
- Enter your login credentials, such as your registration number and date of birth.
- Submit the details to view your scorecard.
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
UP Police Constable Selection Process
Candidates who pass the written exam will proceed to the Physical Endurance Test (PET), a crucial part of the selection process. The PET assesses the physical fitness and endurance of candidates, essential for the constable role. Following the PET, candidates will have to appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST), and document verification.
The detailed process includes:
- PET: Physical fitness evaluation.
- PST: Assessment of physical standards (height, weight, chest measurements, etc.).
- DME: A Detailed Medical Examination.
UP Police Constable 2024 Cut-off Marks
The cut-off marks for various categories have been set as follows:
- Unreserved: 214.04644
- EWS: 187.31758
- OBC: 198.99599
- SC: 178.04955
- ST: 146.73835

Important Details for the PET and PST
For female candidates, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) requires running 2.4 km within 14 minutes. In the Physical Standard Test (PST), candidates' height and weight will be checked. The standards for female candidates are:
- Height: 160 cm (UR/OBC/SC), 147 cm (ST)
- Weight: 40 kg (all categories)
For male candidates, the PST will assess height, weight, and chest measurements. The physical standards for male candidates are:
- Height: 160 cm (UR/OBC/SC), 147 cm (ST)
- Chest: 79 cm (without expansion), 84 cm (with expansion) for UR/OBC/SC; 77 cm (without expansion), 82 cm (with expansion) for ST candidates.

Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
After clearing the PET and PST, candidates will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). This health check-up includes height, weight, chest measurement, eyesight, hearing, and other essential health assessments.
Candidates are urged to regularly visit the official website of UPPRPB for updates regarding Document Verification, Physical Standard Tests, and other recruitment-related notifications. The Document Verification and PST are scheduled to take place in the third week of December 2024, while the PET is expected to be held in the third week of January 2025.
