As reported by news agency ANI, Kannada TV actress Shobitha Shivanna was found dead in her apartment in Hyderabad’s Kondapur. According to police, she allegedly died by hanging herself at her residence in Kondapur, within the limits of PS Gachibowli. The police registered the case and started an investigation, a police official informed ANI. As per the information, her body is taken to the Gandhi hospital for post-mortem. Though the exact reason behind her tragic death is not known, authorities are investigating the case. The incident took place on November 30, 2024, at her residence. According to reports, she got married and posted that she kept a distance from acting.

Shobitha was born on September 23, 1992, in Bengaluru and had a keen interest in arts and entertainment from a tender age. She did schooling at Baldwin Girls High School and later did graduation in Fashion design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Bengaluru. She started her acting journey in 2015 with a Kannada film ‘RangiTaranga’, which marked a turning point in her career. Later she acted in successful Kannada films, including ‘U-Turn’ and ‘K.G.F: Chapters 1 and 2’. Recently, she has been working in Telugu films as well.
