Union Cabinet Extends Health Coverage For Senior Citizens

The Union Cabinet has approved free health insurance coverage of up to ₹5 lakh per year for all citizens aged 70 and above under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). • Put in your state, mobile number, and captcha code.
• Based on information from the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC), the system will indicate your eligibility status.

For offline verification:

• Find the Common Service Centre (CSC) closest to you or go to an Ayushman Bharat hospital that has been accredited.
• You can use the details on your ration card or Aadhaar card to verify your eligibility with the help of trained staff at these locations.
