Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Arun Yogiraj’s Ram Idol Chosen To Be Kept In The Temple; Check Out Some Of His Best Works

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: One of the best-known sculptors in India, Arun Yogiraj has won the biggest honour that many sculptors dream of. His idol 'Ram Lalla' has been chosen to be placed in the biggest Hindu temple in the world, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

How Politicians Congratulated Arun Yogiraj

Union minister Pralhad Joshi announced the news on Twitter with a picture of the sculptor with the idol. He wrote, “The selection of the idol for the Prana Pratishtapana of Lord Rama in Ayodhya has been finalised. The idol of Lord Rama, carved by renowned sculptor of our country Yogiraj Arun, will be installed in Ayodhya.”

Further, Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa also felicitated the sculptor by wishing him for his achievement. He wrote, “The idol of Lord Rama sculpted by the sculptor Arun Yogiraj of Mysuru has been selected for installation in the magnificent Sri Rama Mandir of Ayodhya, which has doubled the pride and happiness of the entire Rama devotees of the state. Heartfelt congratulations to ‘Shilpi @yogiraj_arun’.”

One of the biggest sculptors in India, Arun Yogiraj is from Karnataka (Popular Lord Shiva Temple In Karnataka). 1. Subhash Chandra Bose

Arun Yogiraj gained immense fame when his statue of the legendary Subhash Chandra Bose was established in New Delhi. This is a 30-foot tall statue placed behind the Amar Jawan Jyoti in India Gate.

2. Adi Shankaracharya

In another addition to his series of spiritual sculptures, Arun Yogiraj carved a statue of lord Hanuman which is 21 feet high and is placed in Chunchanakatte, Mysuru.

4. BR Ambedkar

Arun Yogiraj made a statue of BR Ambedkar which is 15 feet tall and is placed in Mysuru.
