1. Kesar Peda

Kesar Peda

Ingredients For Kesar Peda:

2 cups of full-fat milk powder

1 cup of condensed milk

A pinch of saffron threads (kesar)

2 tbsp of ghee

1 tsp of cardamom powder

1 tbsp chopped almonds for garnish

How To Make Kesar Peda:

1. Soak a pinch of saffron threads in 2 tbsp of warm milk for 10 minutes.

2. In a heavy-bottomed pan, melt 2 tbsp of ghee over medium heat.

3. Add 2 cups of milk powder and stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the powder turns light brown.

4. Add 1 cup of condensed milk and mix well.

5. Reduce the heat and add the saffron milk and cardamom powder. Mix well until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.

6. Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes and then knead it for 2-3 minutes until it becomes soft and smooth.

7. Divide the mixture into equal-sized balls and flatten them slightly to form pedas. You can use a peda moulds in a uniform shape.

8. Garnish with chopped almonds and serve.

2. Boondi Ladoo

Ingredients For Boondi Ladoo

1 cup besan (gram flour)

1/2 cup water

1/2 tsp cardamom powder (Benefits Of Cardamom)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup ghee

1 cup boondi

How To Make Boondi Ladoo:

1. In a mixing bowl, add besan and water. Mix well to form a smooth batter.

2. Heat ghee in a pan, and pour the batter through the boondi maker onto the hot ghee. Fry the boondi until it turns golden brown.

3. Remove the fried boondi from the ghee and soak it in water for about 5-10 minutes.

4. Squeeze out the excess water from the soaked boondi and transfer it to another mixing bowl.

5. Add powdered sugar, and cardamom powder to the boondi. Mix well.

6. Apply some ghee to your palms and take small portions of the boondi mixture to make round balls (ladoo).

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup semolina

1/4 tsp fennel seed powder

1 tbsp chopped almonds

1 tbsp chopped pistachios

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup ghee or clarified butter for frying

For sugar syrup:

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

How To Make Malpua:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, semolina, fennel seed powder, almonds, pistachios, and sugar. Mix well.

2. Slowly add milk and water to the dry ingredients while stirring constantly to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

3. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine sugar, water, and cardamom powder to make the sugar syrup. Cook until the sugar fully melts over medium-high heat. Keep the syrup warm.

4. Heat ghee in a shallow frying pan over medium heat.

5. Using a ladle, pour the batter into the hot ghee and fry until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the remaining batter.

6. Remove the Malpua using a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

7. Dip the fried Malpua in the warm sugar syrup for at least 2-3 minutes.
