The world is phantasmal; there are shots in this that make you feel like you’re living in a fairy tale. I’m proud to say the Jacob Elordi stock has never been higher. This man continues to put in great performance after great performance, even if the projects he’s in aren’t the best. He is by far the best part of this movie; when he’s not on screen, you can feel a noticeable drop off. Nothing else in this movie really works for me. I found it boring at times and never really earned Emerald Fennell’s hyper sexualized themes. By the end of the film, I was feeling the runtime and missing any true emotion the film was going for. At least this produced a banger soundtrack from Charlie XCX. 47/100”
