The year was 2018 when Netflix dropped the first movie of the ‘Kissing Booth’ franchise. Fans got a new guy to crush over, and it all made sense. Elordi, as Noah Flynn, was your classic ‘falling for my best friend’s brother’ trope. He was protective of Elle, mean to her in person, played football and looked amazing doing it all. Basically, he ticked every criteria there was to become everyone's new favourite bad boy.  While Elordi now likes to not be associated with that franchise, he has also given us more hits to divert our attention towards.

Jacob Elordi As Nate Jacobs In Euphoria

After gaining a massive fan following post the success of ‘Kissing Booth’, Elordi went on to play his most popular role of ‘Nate Jacobs’ in ‘Euphoria’. His bad boy demeanour is more intense in this series. The toxicity, obsession and secrets pierced together the character of Nate Jacobs. Fans are now waiting to catch the third season of ‘Euphoria’, which is set to release on April 12, 2026. 

Over the years, we have seen Jaocb Elordi shine in blockbuster movies like ‘Saltburn’ (2023), ‘Priscilla’ (2023) and even the horror sci-fi ‘Frankenstein’ (2025). 

Why Is Gen Z So Obsessed With Jacob Elordi? 

Out of all the actors out there, Gen Zs have chosen Elordi as their favourite. While his outstanding performance on screen is enough for people to become fans, there is so much more about him that has made him win so many hearts. A major part of Elordi continuing to be the heartthrob we all know and love is his off-screen persona. From his co-stars to late-night hosts to journalists, everyone has nice things to say about the Australian actor. He is polite, respectful, likes to read, is a patient listener and also a feminist.
