Euphoria Season 3 Plot: What Will Happen To Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, And Sydney Sweeney's Characters

In the new trailer that has recently been released, fans got a glimpse of what they can expect from this upcoming season. ‘Euphoria’ season three takes place several years after high school, and we see our favourite characters focusing on their careers now. The crazy couple of Nate and Cassie have somehow survived the test of time with their relationship and will be seen taking the next step, aka getting married. While wedding bells are ringing for the two, we also see scenes where Maddie’s name is still a touchy subject for the couple. We see a reunion of the love triangle between the complicated relationship Maddie shares with Nate and Cassie. Jacob Elordi’s Nate also calls her 'My Maddie in one scene from the trailer. Nate was also seen going through some trouble, which hasn’t been fully revealed yet. 

Moving on to Zendaya’s character, Rue, fans have been worried about her and that suitcase of drugs since 2022. You would think that with so many years gone by, Laurie would have forgotten all about Rue, but we were wrong. As if Rue already didn’t have her own issues to deal with, now she is being interrogated by Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents. This interrogation is connected to the shady work that RUe has been doing with drug dealers in Mexico. 

The creator of ‘Euphoria’, Sam Levinson, revealed where the main characters ended up after high school. He said, “Jules is in art school, very nervous about having a career as a painter and trying to avoid responsibility at all costs. Maddy is working in Hollywood at a talent agency as a manager, she’s obviously got her own side hustles going. And Lexi is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone, who is just absolutely delightful and a true icon.”
