War 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: After Massive Start, Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR Film Sees Dip, Earns ₹174 Cr

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s ‘War 2’ has had an unpredictable ride at the box office. The action-packed sequel took off on Independence Day with a strong opening, collecting ₹52 crore on Thursday. The momentum carried into Friday, with numbers climbing to ₹57.35 crore, largely driven by the holiday effect. However, the film began losing steam from Saturday onwards.

According to Sacnilk, Saturday brought in ₹33.25 crore, followed by a Sunday collection of ₹31.3 crore. Despite the weekend push, the film was unable to sustain its initial pace and showed signs of slowing down sooner than expected.

War 2 Box Office Collection Day 5

The real test came on Monday, the film’s fifth day. ‘War 2’ witnessed a drastic fall, managing to earn only ₹0.21 crore (till now), a sharp contrast to its impressive opening weekend figures. With this, the total five-day collection stands at ₹174.11 crore net across all languages in India.

As per Sacnilk, here’s how ‘War 2’ has performed in India so far:

• Day 1 (Thursday): ₹52 crore (Hindi: ₹29 crore | Telugu: ₹22.75 crore | Tamil: ₹0.25 crore)
• Day 2 (Friday): ₹57.35 crore (Hindi: ₹44.5 crore | Telugu: ₹12.5 crore | Tamil: ₹0.35 crore)
• Day 3 (Saturday): ₹33.25 crore (Hindi: ₹26 crore | Telugu: ₹6.95 crore | Tamil: ₹0.3 crore)
