Varun Dhawan’s latest movie, Baby John drastically failed at the box office. Despite being one of the most anticipated movies of the actor, the film has collected only Rs 39.15 crores in 15 days, as per the Sacnilk reports. Directed by Kalees, Baby John created a buzz with its teaser release. However, all the excitement built up ahead of the film's release wasn’t able to gather audience attention and the film managed to earn only Rs 11.25 crore on its opening day. Even with the advantage of a Christmas holiday release, the film didn’t receive the expected response. According to the industry tracker website, Sacnilk, the movie only collected Rs 20 lakhs on day 15.

Baby John is a remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri. The movie features Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. However, Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna and Jackie Shroff are also seen in pivotal supporting roles. The film was released in theatres on December 25, 2024.
