The movie, also starring Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor, has garnered significant attention for its gripping storyline and power-packed performances. ‘Raid 2’ hit cinemas on May 1, 2025, and got a mixed response from critics. As per early estimates, ‘Raid 2’ collected approximately ₹0.03 crore on its seventh day in India for all languages, according to the Sacnilk report. The overall occupancy on Tuesday (May 6, 2025) stood at 12.38%, which is a natural drop after the weekend rush.
‘Raid 2’ is now inching closer to the ₹100 crore mark and is likely to join the list of 2025 movies that have entered the ₹100 crore club in the coming days.

‘Raid 2’ Worldwide Collection
Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ has done quite well at the box office, standing out as one of the better-performing movies of 2025 with a total of ₹85.7 Crore (as of May 7, 2025), as reported by Sacnilk. According to the official figures shared by the makers, the movie has earned a total of ₹108.65 crore worldwide. Out of this, ₹81.3 crore came from the India net box office collection (NBOC), while overseas markets contributed around ₹15 crore. With very few movies making a strong impact at the box office this year, Raid 2 has clearly impressed the audiences.

About ‘Raid 2’
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and backed by Panorama Studios and T-Series, ‘Raid 2’ continues the journey of fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn). Set seven years after the events of the 2018 original, this installment sees Patnaik return to crack down on a new white-collar crime ring. Riteish Deshmukh plays a grey-shaded character, while Vaani Kapoor adds charm and mystery to the narrative.
According to IMDb, “In 1989 Rajasthan, IPS officer Patnaik raids a palace but fails. After requesting a bribe, he's transferred to Bhoj, where he investigates Dada Bhai, a respected local figure. Suspended after a failed raid, he uncovers hidden truths”, is the ‘Raid 2’s plot.
With its solid first-week total and positive response, the movie is well on its way to becoming one of 2025’s early box office successes.
