According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, 'Dunki' is Shah Rukh Khan's lowest-budget film in six years. Its production cost is around ₹85 crores, excluding the fees of the cast. If we consider the amount charged by the cast and assume that the entire budget was around ₹120 crores, the film has a budget-friendly status in comparison to other movies of SRK. It also includes the cost of printing and publicity.
The same report says that the shooting the completed in 75 days. The involvement of SRK was around 60 days. Other reports floating around the internet talk about the dedication SRK has for his scenes in the film.
Khan's co-star Ajay Kumar was recently seen praising him for rehearsing for six hours for a scene of only two and a half minutes. He wouldn't sit even for breaks and kept coming up with suggestions to improve the scene.
We hope that the film makes the right noise post its release.
