Happy Patel Ending Explained (SPOILER WARNING)

Towards the end of this movie, we get to see Happy in Goa. He infuriates the gangster Mama by successfully saving the British dermatologist. Instead of the expected Bollywood-style gunfight, Happy and Mama engage in a cook-off against each other. It is then decided that if Mama wins the cook-off, she will get to kill the other person. On the other hand, if Happy wins, Mama will have to leave the people of Panjor alone and end her reign of terror. 

Happy emerges as the winner of this cook-off. At the end, we got to see him call his father and say that he will be staying in India for a while.

The story of this movie starts off with two international agents adopting the son of their dying housekeeper. These spies adopt Happy and train him to be an MI7 agent, but his true calling is to be a chef. Despite being a terrible spy and failing his MI7 exam seven times, his dads sends Happy on a rescue mission in India. He is tasked to rescue a dermatologist, kidnapped by Mama as Agent Patel.
