‘Rahu Ketu’, belonging to Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and others, has had a relatively quiet stint at the Indian box office. Despite being familiar to fans from the ‘Fukrey’ series, the movie has not really converted the benefit of familiarity into the audience’s turnout. Having had a lukewarm opening, the weekend saw limited progress, and the Monday witnessed a steeper decline.
As per the estimation of Sacnilk, the film has collected around ₹4.42 crores in four days in India.
‘Rahu Ketu's’ business was relatively muted to begin the weekend, its profits oscillating in the lower price range. However, Saturday experienced a definite rebound, while the rise in profits continued slightly in Sunday. But the rise was not significant to allow the development of momentum.
The weekend figures indicate that although there were some fans of the comic chemistry of the leads that were lapped up in the film, it could not reach a wider audience.
Initial predictions by the website Sacnilk estimated ‘Rahu Ketu’ to be ₹0.04 crores on Day 4. This drastic fall hints at things going south for the movie during the weekdays, majorly because of negative reviews and a poor turnout of audience members.

‘Rahu Ketu’ is based on two quirky heroes who come from the lines of writer Churu Lal’s magical notebook. The heroes are on the look for their magical notebook from the cunning Meenu Taxi. Actors Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma will feature in this comedy-drama film, with actors Shalini Pandey, Chunky Pandey, Piyush Mishra, Manu Rishi Chadha, Amit Sial, and Sumit Gulati completing the star cast.
‘Rahu Ketu’ released in theatres on the same day as ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’ by Vir Das. For the theatre owners, the results turned out to be not very great as neither of those movies created any strong box office momentum in opening to mixed reviews by critics and audiences.
