S. Shankar directed political action drama ‘Game Changer’ starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani released on January 10, 2025 and minted Rs 51 crore resulting in a blockbuster opening. However, as the first Monday arrived, the film's earning nosedived to barely Rs 8.5 crore, turning out to be a big disappointment.

According to the Sacnilk report, the theatres saw only 20% Telugu occupancy for the movie on Monday. The collection is dipping lower since the second day when it earned Rs 21.6 crore, which is around Rs 20 crore less than the first day’s earnings. On Sunday, it saw a further dip, recording only Rs 15.9 crore at the domestic box office. The total net collection in India stands at Rs 97 crore, which means the movie will soon enter the Rs 100 crore club. Despite the positive response from the audience, the film is experiencing a lower occupancy every day.

The film has been released across multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu to cater to a broader audience. The film features Ram in dual roles as H. Ram Nandan and his father, Appanna. Kiara plays the role of Deepika who is Ram’s wife in the movie. The film also features Anjali, Nassar, SJ Suryah, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and Murali Sharma in important roles.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, on Monday, shared the first-weekend box office figures of the Hindi version of Game Changer on X. “Despite positive feedback in the #Hindi circuits, #GameChanger hasn't been able to unlock its true potential. The weekend numbers don't reflect the substantial growth/jump typically expected from a big-budget, highly anticipated film,” he said.

He further added, “While the 3-day total is respectable, the overall outcome should have been stronger, especially considering the high costs involved. #GameChanger #Hindi [Week 1] Fri 8.64 cr, Sat 8.43 cr, Sun 9.52 cr. Total: ₹ 26.59 cr.”
