After the massive success of the Janhvi Kapoor and Ishan Khatter starrer love story ‘Dhadak’, the exciting announcement for ‘Dhadak 2’ has been made by the creators. The sequel will be starring two critically acclaimed actors, the ‘Animal’ fame Triptii Dimri and ‘Gully Boy’ actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, opposite each other in the unconventional romantic movie.
The sequel was adapted from the Marathi movie ‘Sairat’ and marked the debut of the leading couple. After the release of the official announcement teaser of the sequel, fans have their hopes high. Keep reading to know more.

To make the news of the movie’s release official, the movie’s creators announced with an official announcement teaser on their YouTube channels. Dhadak 2 Release Date
The movie’s creators announced at the end of the teaser that the love story will hit the theatres on November 22, 2024. The first instalment was released on July 20, 2018, after being originally scheduled for a release on July 6, 2018.

Dhadak 2 Cast And Crew
‘Dhadak 2’ will boast a fresh pair wherein Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri have been cast opposite each other. Both actors, despite being relatively new in the industry, have established a name for themselves with their impeccable acting prowess. The rest of the cast is yet to be revealed.

The Dharma Production film is being produced by Karan Johar, Umesh KR Bansal, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa and Somen Mishra and presented by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions and Cloud 9 Pictures. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie’s music has been composed by Shreyas Puranik and the lyrics are by Siddharth-Garima.
Dhadak 2 Possible Plot
‘Dhadak’ was an inter-caste love story between a higher-class girl and a lower-caste boy. ‘Dhadak 2’ will possibly strike similar chords but with an emphasis on “Dalit lives matter” as hinted in the teaser.
