The theatrical run of 'The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond' fails to attract attention at the box office. Released as a spiritual follow-up to the 2023 blockbuster 'The Kerala Story', the film arrived with high expectations. However, while the movie has managed to maintain a steady pace in theatres, it has not yet been able to recreate the massive commercial success of its predecessor.
After nearly two weeks in cinemas, the film has collected around ₹36.98 crore net in India, while the gross collection has reached about ₹43.22 crore. The numbers indicate a consistent but moderate performance. With more than 40,000 shows running across different regions, the film still has visibility in theatres, though the growth has slowed during the weekdays.
Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh and backed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film features a cast led by Ulka Gupta and Aditi Bhatia. Despite decent footfall during the second weekend, the overall numbers suggest that the ₹50 crore milestone may take longer than expected.

The Day 13 figures indicate that the film continues to run in theatres with strong show counts. However, weekday collections have remained limited compared to the initial weekend.
Note: Final Day 13 numbers are still being updated as reports continue to come in.
Trade observers say the film’s performance remains stable but not explosive. Much of its earnings came from the opening weekend and the second Saturday surge.
Day 12 marked a typical weekday trend where the film saw a slight dip in collections. This is common for films entering their second week.
The figure kept the film’s total moving forward, though it also showed that the pace has slowed compared to the weekend jump earlier in the week.
