Critics' Choice Awards 2026: The prestigious award show, ‘Critics' Choice Awards 2026’ was held yesterday, on March 24, 2026. This year was the 8th edition of this renowned award show. Several films, series, artists, and documentaries were honoured at the award show last night. The 8th edition of the ‘Critics’ Choice Awards’ was held by the ‘Film Critics Guild’. In the film category, ‘Homebound’ dominated the winner list while ‘Black Warrant’ won most awards in the web series category. The Film Critics Guild and WPP Motion Entertainment announced the winners for the 8th Critics’ Choice Awards 2026 last night. All winners were chosen by a jury of 56 prominent critics from across print, digital, radio, and broadcast media. Critics' Choice Awards 2026 Full Winner List For Film Category 

For 2026, the movie which bagged the award for the ‘Critics' Choice Awards 2026 for Best  Feature Film’ was Neeraj Ghaywan’s ‘Homebound’. The other films nominated under the ’Best Feature Film’ category were ‘Sabar Bonda’, ‘Jugnuma’, ‘The Great Shamsuddin Family’, ‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ and ‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ amongst others.

• Best Director: Neeraj Ghaywan for Homebound

• Best Actor: Vishal Jethwa for Homebound

• Best Actress: Priyanka Bose for Agra

• Best Supporting Actor: Pasupathy for Bison Kaalamaadan

• Best Supporting Actress: Shalini Vatsa for Homebound

• Best Writing: Rohan Parashuram Kanawade for Sabar Bonda (Cactus Pears)

• Best Cinematography: Sunil Borkar for Jugnuma (The Fable)

• Best Editing: Chaman Chakko for Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra

• Gender Sensitivity Award: Sthal (A Match)

Critics' Choice Awards 2026 Full Winner List Web Series Category

‘Black Warrant’ won the title of ‘Critics' Choice Awards 2026 for Best Web Series’ this year. The shows which were nominated for the ‘Best Web Series’ category were ‘Paataal Lok’ and ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, amongst others.

• Best Director: Vikramaditya Motwane, Satyanshu Singh, Arkesh Ajay, Rohin Raveendran Nair and Ambiecka Pandit for Black Warrant

• Best Actor: Jaideep Ahlawat for Paatal Lok S2

• Best Actress: Monika Panwar for Khauf

• Best Supporting Actor: Rahul Bhat for Black Warrant

• Best Supporting Actress: Tillotama Shome for Paatal Lok S2

• Best Writing: Satyanshu Singh and Arkesh Ajay for Black Warrant

• Best Actress: Sheeba Chaddha for Nighiyaan Chhavan (Warm Shadows)

• Best Writing: Apurva Bardapurkar for Maaybaapache Aashirwaad (Blessings)

‘I, Poppy’ won the title for the ‘Critics' Choice Awards 2026 for Best Documentary’ category. Another documentary, which was nominated under this category, was ‘Chaar Phool Hain Aur Duniya Hai’.

Critics' Choice Awards 2026 Full Winner List For Special Award

Veteran actress Farida Jalal has been known for her decades-long acting career in Indian cinema. She was honoured with the ‘Extraordinary Contribution to Cinema Award’ at the ‘Critics' Choice Awards 2026’. From classic Bollywood films like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum’ to her latest movie, ‘O’Romeo’, Farida has given us many hits over the years and kept us all entertained. In her speech, the legendary actress said, "I would like to express my immense gratitude for this honour. I am truly humbled. No matter how much you give to your work, the sense of fulfilment comes with such recognition. I thank the Film Critics Guild and the Critics’ Choice Awards from the bottom of my heart,”
