Badass Ravi Kumar Box Office Collection Day 3: Himesh Reshammiya Starrer Earnings Dip on First Monday, Registers Rs 6.15 Crore So Far

If you are craving for some cringe comedy, then Himesh Reshammiya’s recent release is your best bet. ‘Badass Ravi Kumar’ starring musician-turned-actor and choreographer-director Prabhu Deva might not be a highly acclaimed movie but audiences are accepting it. The film made a decent opening at the box office minting Rs 2.75 crore, surpassing Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s romantic drama Loveyapa on the first day. However, the musical parody film saw a dip on the second and third days, struggling to maintain a grip on the audience.

According to the Sacnilk report, Himesh starrer minted a decent Rs 2.75 crore on its opening day. It maintained a steady grip on day 2, earning Rs 3 crore. However, as per the early estimates of day 3, the movie collected around Rs 1.17 crore, bringing its total to Rs 5.92 crore.

On Sunday, the high-octane movie had an overall 12.51% Hindi occupancy, with 5.22% in morning shows, 12.81% in afternoon shows, and 18.41% in evening shows. Despite the dip, Badass Ravi Kumar continues to receive praise and outran Junaid and Khushi’s rom-com theatrical debut, Loveyapa, which earned Rs 4.25 crore at the domestic box office.

I wanted to shatter any judgment I had about spoof films. I also wanted to break the perception I had of myself as an actor. Until a few years ago, I wouldn’t have said yes to a film like this.”
