With time, our working habits have changed. Now we all usually work while sitting for long hours in front of our laptops. But have you ever thought how dangerous it can be? This leads to a lot of health problems, especially among women. Here are some of the negative effects of sitting for too long in the office:

Researchers from Queensland University (Australia) have found that women who keep sitting for around 10 hours every day suffer from fatigue. For 12 years these researchers have been working to study the sitting habits of women.

Lowering Immunity 

Immunity is immensely important for our bodies and we all need to have a good immune system to keep ourselves safe from health problems and provide our body with the strength to recover from health issues. But sitting for long hours at one place brings a drop in our immunity level. Women must keep engaging into some physical activity in between their long working hours. 

 

Here is what you can do to save yourself from the negative effects of long sitting hours:

 

1. Try not to sit for long hours at a stretch

2. Walk around the office after every few minutes

3. Try standing while working on some things

4. Have your lunch in the canteen, not on your seat

5. Don't bend or take one single position while sitting

6. Stretch your neck and shoulders in between

7. Go out for a walk once to intake a fresh breeze
