It is not just about having healthy teeth which help us chew but also about bad breath, yellow teeth or a white dirty tongue which have a very negative impact on the person in front of us. It also proves how hygienic you are. Daily Brush

It is very important that you brush your teeth twice a day. Now, this is something every dentist also says. Brush them after your dinner at night before sleeping. Buy a brush which has a smaller head so that it can reach and clean the teeth you have in the end and something with soft bristles so that you do not hurt your gums. Take at least 2-3 minutes in brushing your teeth.

Personally, I used to floss but have now stopped as my teeth now have little gaps which were not there earlier. So it is best that you get in touch with an expert for the same.

Ditch Acidic Drinks

Keep a tab on what you drink. Limit the intake of acidic drinks and aerated drinks like soft drinks and fruit juices. Limit acidic drinks like soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices. Why? Because food acids soften tooth material and then they dissolve all the minerals present in the tooth enamel, which causes holes (cavities or caries).

Limit Sugar

Limit sugary foods for the very reason that the bacteria present in dental plaque change the sugars into acids.

Use Teeth Only For Eating

Please stick to only eating food with your teeth and not for cracking nuts, removing bottle tops or opening packings. This way you are risking your teeth from chipping or even breaking your teeth.
