A Delhi-based working professional, Priya Mathur said, “I had constant shoulder pain because of wearing bra. Despite trying all the sprays and pain killers, I was struggling with this issue. But, ever since I stopped wearing a bra, I am experiencing less pain and soreness around my neck and shoulders. This has been my most liberating decision as a woman, to be honest.”

Ladies with bigger breasts may face some problem by ditching bra. While there are lingeries that are just fancy, others are actually bras that are functional and support the weight of your breasts. Without a bra, you are left to do all the heavy lifting on your own and further the maximum pressure comes on your back causing some major aches and pains. A 34-year old Delhi-based housewife revealed, “The idea of going braless fascinates me a lot, but due to the size of my breast, that is 36 A, I cannot function without it. Be it mopping the floor or playing with my children, doing tasks without wearing a bra makes me slow and gives me excruciating pain in the back.”

No Saggy Breasts

Many might think that going braless can make their breast saggy. But this is not the case. Reportedly, a study led by sports science expert, Jean-Denis Rouillon, bras are not necessary as the breasts do not benefit from this piece of clothing. Instead, as per the study, breasts “get saggier with a bra.” The reason is simple. Due to constant support, the breast tissue becomes still and weak. But, as you stop wearing them, your breasts have to adapt and they end up becoming neutral and supports themselves.
