Finding time for exercise in a busy schedule is difficult. Even the shortest exercise sessions require time to fit into the busiest of schedules. On the other hand, it is also easy to lose motivation, especially when you haven’t discovered enjoyable ways to exercise. But you are never too busy to exercise, and there are multiple enjoyable ways to get your body moving. In light of the same, we spoke to Dr Dinesh Kapoor, Managing Director, Fitness World. Scroll down to learn a few inventive ways to get more exercise done in less time.
Creative ways To Do More Exercise In Less Time
Deskercise At Work
Most of us have desk jobs and thus our body remains sedentary for long hours. You can incorporate simple desk exercises such as chair squats, seated leg lifts, or desk push-ups can be done without having to leave your desk. Set a timer to remind yourself to move after almost every hour to get some exercises done.
Active Commuting
If your workplace is near your house, consider walking or cycling instead of driving. This not only adds physical activity but also helps clear your mind before and after work.
Take the stairs
Take the stairs when you can, even if just for a floor or two. This will get your heart rate up and aid in burning more calories. Taking stairs instead of elevators can be a good form of exercise in a short time.

Micro Workouts
Short bursts of exercise can be just as effective as longer sessions. Try doing a quick 10-minute workout, such as high-intensity interval training (HIIT), a few times throughout the day. These mini-workouts can be done during lunch breaks or between meetings.
Incorporate Exercise Into Daily Chores
Turn household chores into a workout. Vacuuming, washing clothes, gardening, or even washing cars can burn calories and improve your fitness. Adding lunges or squats to your daily chores can enhance the intensity of these activities.
