JEE Mains 2025: Exam Dates
According to the official notice by JEE, the JEE Main 2025 session Paper 1 (for BE/BTech) will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 in two shifts:
- First Shift (Morning): 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
- Second Shift (Afternoon): 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
The examination for Session Paper 2A (BArch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and the combined Paper 2A and 2B (BArch and B.Planning) will take place on January 30, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
This year, the NTA has significantly changed the JEE Main exam pattern. Paper B will no longer include optional questions. Instead, it will be mandatory for candidates to answer all five questions listed in the paper. Previously, there were 10 optional questions, and candidates were required to answer only five. Additionally, negative markings will now be applicable for numerical value questions, adding a new layer of challenge to the exam.
