The National Testing Agency has released the examination schedule and exam pattern for Joint Entrance Examination 2025, session 1. JEE Mains 2025 Exam Schedule
According to the official website of NTA, JEE exams 2025, session 1 will include two papers: Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 (BArch/BPharma). The paper one will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. While paper 2 will be conducted on January 30, 2025. The paper 1 exam will be conducted in two shifts which include 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. On the other hand, paper 2 will be conducted in the second shift from 3 pm to 6:30 pm. This schedule is for session 1 which will be conducted in January 2025. Another session will be conducted in April 2025. JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern Change
This year NTA has changed the exam pattern. Paper B will not include the optional questions anymore. It will be compulsory to answer all the five questions mentioned in the paper. Earlier, there used to be 10 optional questions, out of which 5 were required to answer. Additionally, there will be negative markings for the numerical value questions.

Admit Card Details
The admit card for the JEE Mains examination 2025 will be available three days before the examination. The examination city list will be available in the first week of January. The admit card will contain the roll number, candidate exam centre name, date, shift, reporting time, examination rules and regulations. You can visit the official website of NTA to download the admit card and get a printout of the same. Here’s how you can download the admit:
Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the session one admit card option available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials: registration number and date of birth.
Step 4: Download the admit card.
