IIT Roorkee will make the GATE 2025 admit card available for download on January 7, 2025, through its official website. Candidates must bring their admit card to the examination hall, as entry without it will not be permitted. According to the official IIT Roorkee website, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to downloading your GATE 2025 admit card:

Step 1: Visit the official GATE 2025 website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in

Step 2: Access the GOAPS login portal.

Step 3: Enter your registration number and password to log in.

Step 4: Your details will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on the ‘Download Admit Card’ link.

Step 6: Save the admit card and print a copy for exam day.

GATE 2025 Exam Dates

As per the official notification from IIT Roorkee, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day:

• Forenoon Session: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
• Afternoon Session: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Candidates appearing for the GATE 2025 exam should note the negative marking policy for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs):

• 2-mark MCQ: 2/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

There is no negative marking for Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions. Understanding this marking scheme can help candidates strategise their attempts effectively.
