The CBSE Board Exams for classes 10 and 12 will begin from February 17, 2026. The examinations are being conducted in an offline mode which is the pen-and-paper format across over 8,000 centres. It’s normal to feel nervous at this stage, but with the right mindset and a clear plan, you can give your very best. Here are some simple and effective last‑minute tips to help you stay calm and confident:
One of the most important things you can do is prepare your day ahead of the exam. Ensure your admit card, ID and stationery are packed and ready. Double‑check the exam centre address and the reporting time. Arriving early gives you time to organise your things.
At this stage, avoid trying to learn new chapters or strategies. Cramming new topics hours before the exam usually leads to confusion and anxiety. Instead, focus on light revision of what you already know well. Go through your short notes, formula sheets, and important points that you’ve already prepared or highlighted in the chapters.

If you have time, try one or two mock tests or past year papers under timed conditions. These help you familiarise yourself with the paper pattern and improve your time management. Going through previous years’ questions gives you a good feel for question styles and important topics.

Your mind performs best when your body is well‑rested. Make sure you get enough sleep, eat well, and stay hydrated. A fresh mind remembers better and keeps you alert during the three‑hour exam.

During board exams, social media can become full of ‘Leaked Questions’ or ‘Special Questions’ that claim to predict the paper. These are often false or misleading, and believing them can raise stress unnecessarily. Trust what you’ve prepared and focus on your own strategy and avoid unnecessary distractions.
Stay positive and confident. All the best to all the CBSE Board Exams 2026 students.
