Chewing cinnamon may help regulate blood sugar levels, especially in individuals with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Studies suggest that cinnamon reduces insulin resistance, making it easier for the body to process glucose and potentially lowering the risk of long-term complications.
Cinnamon is also packed with antioxidants that combat harmful toxins in the body. These antioxidants help reduce inflammation, a key factor linked to numerous chronic diseases. “It works as an excellent antioxidant fighting harmful toxins in the body,” Bhave explains.
