Amid this festive spirit, Indian Railways has introduced a big change to help with the ongoing issue of crowded trains between Patna and Delhi. For the first time, a special Vande Bharat train will run on this route, offering a fast and comfortable journey that matches the excitement of the celebrations.

Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway (ECR), shared the exciting news: "This Vande Bharat Express is set to make four round trips, covering a distance of 994 km in just 11 hours and 35 minutes." The train's composition of eight rakes ensures ample space for eager travellers looking to partake in the festivities.

Special Vande Bharat Train for Diwali, Chhath Puja: Route and Timings
According to the Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway (ECR), the special train will run on specific dates: it will depart from New Delhi on October 30, November 1, 3, and 6, while returning from Patna Junction on October 31, November 2, 4, and 7.

The train will leave New Delhi at 8:25 AM, making several key stops along the way. It will reach Kanpur Central at 1:05 PM, Prayagraj at 3:10 PM, DDU at 5:00 PM, Buxar at 6:17 PM, Ara at 7:10 PM, and finally arrive at Patna Junction by 8:00 PM.
On its return journey, it will depart Patna Junction at 7:30 AM and make similar stops before arriving back in New Delhi at 7:00 PM.

Special Vande Bharat Train for Diwali, Chhath Puja: Ticket Prices
Ticket prices for this special Vande Bharat service are set competitively to ensure accessibility for all travellers. An AC chair car ticket will cost Rs 2,575, while an AC executive chair car ticket is priced at Rs 4,655. The fare includes complimentary tea, breakfast, and dinner, enhancing the travel experience during this busy season.
With this initiative, Indian Railways aims to enhance travel convenience during one of the busiest times of the year. The introduction of the special Vande Bharat trains not only addresses the high demand for tickets but also ensures that passengers can celebrate the festive season without hassle.
