1. Gujarati Kadhi
The kadhi is an essential part of any Gujarati thali meal. This classic meal, distinguished by its white appearance, is sour curd, spiced with thickened gram flour, and sweetened with jaggery or sugar. With the addition of koftas or pakoras, the texture of this sweet and spicy, thin soup-like kadhi can be improved. Because of its cooling properties, it is a wonderful summer dish.
2. Sev Tameta Nu Shak
Every taste of the Sev Tameta Nu Shaak, one of the few Gujarati meals that combine sweet, salty, tangy, and spicy ingredients in one bite, is a storm of flavour. The meal is cooked after sauteing diced onions and tomatoes in oil and spices, and then sev is sprinkled on top to give it a spicy and salty flavour.
3. Dabeli
It's a mashed potato dish with spices, onions, tamarind chutney, coconut, pomegranate seeds, peanuts, coriander, and cooked potatoes. This potato filling is sandwiched between two bread buns and fried in oil on a Tawa. It's a crispy, savoury, flavorful fast food dish that can be grabbed and eaten on the move.

4. Khandvi

5. Dal Dhokli
Dal Dhokli, a dish cooked by boiling wheat flour noodles in pigeon pea stew, is a distinctive Gujarati vegetarian meal. The Marwari settlers who came to establish their business relations with the outside world are thought to have brought this cuisine to Gujarat. This dish is suitable for consumption at any time of day.
6. Handvo
Crisp on the outside and soft on the interior, a savoury tea-cake. A nutritious combination of bottle gourd (lauki), buttermilk, flour, coriander, chilies, lentils, and rice. This is a simple and quick recipe that can be prepared in about 30 minutes.The cake has a texture similar to Dhokla, but it has a different taste because it contains a crunch of healthy veggies. Handvo is made in a special pressure cooker and served with a tadka of oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
