Regular commuters from Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region), travelling is on the verge of becoming smoother for you! The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is all set to launch the rapid Namo Bharat Train connecting the capital city with NCR stretching till Meerut, for easier commute for working professionals, students, and travellers. The train will take you from Meerut to Ghaziabad within 30 minutes. The Ghaziabad to Meerut route will roll out soon as reported by the Government officials. Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Train
The rapid Namo Bharat Train will be rolled out before the month of Sawan (the fifth month of the Hindu calendar). The month will begin on July 22, 2024, while the officials have announced the train’s tentative launch on July 20, 2024. This will also reduce the travel time and simplify effort for Kanwariyas who go for Kanwar Yatra during the month of Sawan to worship Lord Shiva.
Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Train Halts
The Namo Bharat Train route currently stretches from Sahibabad to Modi Nagar North with 8 halts. The 34 km-long train route will now be increased by 8 km, amounting to a total distance of 42 km with the additional station Meerut South. The train will hence be running from Modi Nagar North to Meerut South.
Constructions are also underway in Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar and Sarai Kale Khan from where the Namo Bharat Train (India's Best Train Routes) will soon roll out. However, no official date has been announced yet.

Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Train Fares
The rapid rail service of Namo Bharat Train will enhance the travel quality for working professionals and students who have to commute regularly from anywhere between Meerut and Delhi. This will also reduce travel time and effort. The NCRTC is yet to announce the travel fare for Namo Bharat Train after its official launch date announcement.

Delhi RRTS Corridor
The Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) will be covering a large distance of the capital city and its neighbouring regions to make travelling more convenient for daily commuters. Delhi’s RRTS stretch spreads across 14 km with 9 km elevated and 5 km underground. This includes Anand Vihar, Nizamuddin/Sarai Kale Khan, and Ashok Nagar Metro Stations.
