The Char Dham Yatra 2026 registration is a mandatory process for devotees before visiting the holy shrines. The registration process includes:
Create an account with your mobile number and register yourself on the official portal registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in
Download the Tourist Care Uttarakhand application from the application store.
Send a message 'Yatra' to initiate the process to 8394833833.
In case of offline registration, major locations will be scheduled in Haridwar, Rishikesh, and along the routes from April 17, 2026.
One needs to carry a valid government ID, such as an Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License.
Carry valid medical records, especially devotees over 50 years old and children under 10 years old.
Carry valid documents if travelling in personal vehicles.
The registration for Char Dham Yatra is free. Beware of scams, and always register from the official government website.
You will receive a letter of registration with a QR code after your registration, which needs to be printed.
Book your helicopter yatra to Kedarnath through the official government website heliyatra.irctc.co.in.
The best time to visit the Char Dham Yatra in 2026 is during the Summer season for peaceful weather conditions. Late April to June or early Autumn, i.e., September to October, are the ideal months to visit the holy shrines.
